Forward Motion ( poker )


The act of betting. If someone says, "Motion's good," he probably means, "If that act of reaching
for your chips that you are performing is to be interpreted as an actual intention on your part of betting,
you can take the pot, because I shall not be calling." Some clubs have a rule motion is binding, which means
that if you have chips in your hand and make a motion toward the pot with the hand that holds those chips
(also known as a forward motion), you must complete the bet.
